About Texas Property Value Protest

Our founder, Cheryl Thomas, began her journey into property tax consulting after serving the maximum six-year term on the Tarrant County Appraisal Review Board. Seeing firsthand how difficult and unfair the protest process could be for property owners, she launched Texas Property Value Protest in 2010 to provide honest, results-driven representation built on fairness.

Understanding the Appraisal System
